Hello,
We have been potty training our younger daughter (2.5 Years old) with zero success for a couple of months now. Basically we stumbled blindly into it completely unprepared thinking it would go as easily as it did with our eldest... big mistake. We had no plan and were not consistent and unsurprisingly she has made no progress whatsoever! It hasn't become a battleground or anything, no upset or tantrums...she's just not getting it because we are not organised.
We have now read the 'Oh Crap!' potty training book on a friends recommendation and have realised the grave error of our ways. We desperately want to restart the process, to do this we are thinking we should have a small break, go back to nappies for a week and then start fresh with a plan (from said book).
Does anyone have any advice on whether a break is even advisable or how long it should be if so? Or if there is any point trying introduce a plan now after confusing her for 2 months already?
Thanks for your help.
Eoin
