ADHD in 3 year old?

So my 3 yo son has always been very active and exuberant, literally since he was born. Nowadays he remains full of beans and in addition he always makes all sorts of noises to himself for no reason when he's not talking. He gets silly and physical extremely easily which is very annoying although we try our best to be patient with him. He does find it hard to be still, and to sit through mealtimes (not interested). He finds it hard to focus on things he's not interested in (such as drawing).

Exceptions are that he can sit for hours stock still watching cartoons, and when he is interested in something like a puzzle or Lego he can concentrate for quite a long time. He loves listening to stories and can concentrate on that if he's interested in them.

Should I be worried about adhd? Are other 3 year olds like this? All of my friends kids are much lower energy and more sensible
:(

Sounds like an active 3 year old to me.

My four year old is like this - except that he can’t sit still to watch TV, he’s doing handstands round the room, he can’t focus on Lego/puzzles, and he’s usually singing to himself or trying to play for his bedtime books 😕
