Baby feeding

I have a 9 week old daughter. She is completely formula fed. She was born quite small due to stopping growing at 35 weeks so was born at 37 weeks at 5 pounds. When we bought her home she was eating every hour or so and taking an ounce or less. Overtimes its gradually increased. 2 weeks ago we upped her bottles to 5 ounces, she was taking 4 ounces and asking for more.
Since she was born weve always let her take what she wants, some feeds she takes 4 ounces, other 1. But as long as we had 2 or 3 good feeds a day we weren't too worried. Since upping her bottles to 5 ounces shes taking 1 ounce every feed and this is every hour and half. Its like shes a newborn again. This has been going on for about a week. And its continuing through the night. Is this normal? I mentioned it to the gp at her baby check and she wasn't concerned because her weight is going up. She has wet and dirty nappies. I have rung the health visitor but no appointments or anything till the end of November. I know this is really long and I hope it makes sense.

Thanks in advance

As long as she’s gaining weight and healthy I wouldn’t worry about it. We bought some scales to monitor at home.

It’ll likely pass.
