Im tired. Tried to feed my 6 month DS some mashed carrots and sweet potato and he spat it back at me. Fine. Im not going to force the issue. Tried to feed him his milk. He took 3oz and wont take anymore. Fine - also not going to force the issue. Hes grizzley. Im just tired of nothing being easy today. Im also actually physically tired. Theres no real point to this post, I just wanted a moan I suppose.

Such a long night last. DS didn't want to sleep and was fighting it until half past 10. Had an whole hour of crying. No one ever told you about these "leaps" and fighting sleep before you have a baby.
So tired today and so much to do

He IS cute! Tiredness makes everything so much worse I think

Yes, it's the difference to being vaguely functioning or not for me. But I cope on less than j used to. Trying to persuade him away from tablet to sort out the Christmas cake. Not going well

@Harrysmummy246

He's currently unloading all the recipe cards from the folder. And had a meltdown for turning his tablet off. Good job he's bloody cute
He's so cute..

Love his cheeky grin

Fingers crossed we all have a good nights sleep tonight

Last night was a total disaster here. Baby sleeping by 8.15pm, he then woke every single hour until 3am, wide wake 3-5am, then finally slept 2hrs 5-7am in our bed. He’s now exhausted but has only napped 30 mins so far today despite long walk in pram and trying to resettle.

How can babies go on so little sleep? Everything online says they need 11-12 hrs overnight and 3+ hrs of day naps ie 14-15hrs in 24. My baby prob sleeps 9-10hrs out of 24 is we are lucky.

Sleep is really up and down here too. I know deep down theres nothing I can really do to 'solve' it. Doesnt stop me looking for any magic tricks and answers though!

Arghghg think I saw pretty much every hour last night.

Worst we've had in years and it's never been great.

And then he was complaining to DH this morning that he didn't get cuddles, only hand holds. GRRRRRR

Sympathy to you all last night. Here was Better than usual, woke three times to feed between 9pm-6am, which is just about doable without going crazy
