When does reflux, colic, digestive issues etc become a thing of the past?

DS had a bit of silent reflux in the early days, which disappeared after about 12 weeks. But he's recently starting bringing up a bit of milk every now and then and seems to be quite gassy and windy during the night. He used to do big burps after feeds but no longer does.

He's six months old - I thought his digestive system would be beyond this stage by now? I'm about to start on solids... could that help?

My daughter was a “happy spitter” until around 6-7 months (started her on solids at 5.5 months)

Happened gradually - I just one day noticed I didn’t have a muslin over my shoulder all the time anymore. I think it was a combo of solids (though she did still sick up a bit when we initially moved onto solids), sitting up more and her digestive system just generally maturing x
