I have an 8 month old DD shell be 9 months in two weeks

Have done baby led weaning since she was 6 months and she took to it really well never had any issues, she eats really well eats a very varied good diet

My only concern is for the past 6 weeks shes gone right off formula

She just won't drink it, she'll have 8oz in the morning and about 6 oz before bed, i always make an 8oz bottle, i offer milk throughout the day shell either play with it or have half an ounce here or there

Had anyone else had this? I've been trying to get hold of my health visitor for weeks and had no luck and its such conflicting advice online, id prefer to hear from other mums

I appreciate how important her milk is which is why I'd like her to drink more but obviously I cant force her, so do i give her a bottle at lunch then give her some lunch, give her a bottle at tea time then give her her tea? Any advice would be greatly appreciated xx

Two bottles at that age sounds perfectly normal to me as long as she has a balanced diet, water with meals and 3 meals a day. I wouldn't be at all worried.

She needs vitamins if she is drinking less than 500ml of formula, which it sounds like she is.

I think the aim is 500ml at that age. X2 8oz is 480ml roughly so that’s basically average.

Add some formula to breakfast porridge/ cerea if she has as that will increase slightly. Then other dairy like yogurt, cheese and similar in her diet should be fine
