Stopping breastfeeding

Okay so I’m a FTM I’m not looking for any criticism for my decisions/choices just some helpful advice from some lovely mummies please!

My DS is 9 weeks old And fed on demand. I’m trying to phase out breastfeeding or at least day time breastfeeding (if that’s even possible??) by Christmas if I can I’ve already started giving a bottle around 6pm for the last week or so but he’s a big lad and likes to feed a lot between 6-10pm
I have a very good if not too good milk supply and I tend to get full very quickly. How do i go about gradually doing this? And how much formula should I be offering on a bottle feed and should I give more in the bottle if he’s still hungry afterwards or let him feed on the breast?

Has anyone done this successfully without any discomfort or issues?

Thanks ladies Flowers

I did that so I could go back to work. I expressed a lot during the first couple of weeks, and my supply gradually reduced.

I had my dp give feeds so the bottle was the only thing on offer, but I realise that's difficult if he's at work.
