My LO is 10 months and starting to walk with support. Really wants to be on the ground when out but so far wellies and other shoes I've tried all fall off. Does anyone have a recommendation for wet weather friendly early walkers that do not fall off? TIA.

We used pre walkers from clarks, had her feet measured by them, and they stayed on well.

Were they good for wet/muddy conditions? We live in the country so need something quite protective.

I would recommend having a look at Bobux. The shoes are gorgeous, really soft, flexible and great quality. They have some lovely ones that are more of a boot style that might work? X

They have various options, but probably most for that age are not waterproof. I wanted them for walking in wet grass etc and they were fine for that, but not for puddles etc.

I find it takes a good 6 months of independent walking before they can manage wellies. Before then I used trainers and then let them dry out.

Shoes aren’t recommended until they have been walking for 6 weeks but I was lucky with both DDs and they started walking in summer so we’re fine shoe less.
