Is my 7 week old overtired?

Had a rough night with my boy last night which resulted in us both not having much sleep. Think partly due to him going through a leap but I wanted to know if anyone else’s babies did this. After his feed and burping and he looks drowsy (rubbing eyes etc) I start rocking him but he begins to start punching his arms around, getting worked up. I carry on rocking him and eventually he gives in and falls asleep. Is that signs of an overtired baby? I’m a FTM so just trying to understand this behaviour

I wonder this too. My 11 week old does the exact same, and she 'oos' too, getting quieter and quieter as she falls asleep its a bit funny in a way! Sometimes I wonder if shes actually wanting to be awake as she can be so furious about me getting her to sleep when she was peaceful if not a little fussy beforehand, then fast asleep 1 minute later. Pretty confusing, I'm curious if others say it is overtiredness but i feel personally im very keen on it? Idk, either way i understand your situation youre not the only one!
