Baby suddenly crying when swaddled/being put to sleep?

My 10 week old seems to now cry while im putting her to sleep? As soon as I start to swaddle her and walk with her so she dozes off she does this strange short of little howl-cry. As she dozes off sometimes she's even still howling (its not like screaming-howling, it's like an ooo oo oo??) But as she begins to fall asleep it gets shorter and quieter if that makes sense. But she starts as soon as I begin to swaddle her, like she realises I'm going to put her to sleep and she doesn't want to? Anybody else experienced the same?

My 9 week old is refusing to be swaddled this week, even when I try to do it once he's asleep, he'll wake up thrashing and trying to get out of it, then cry. I've given up and moved onto a sleeping bag. Last night he thrashed about nearly all night with arms and legs all over the place. Not sure what to do. He obviously didn't have a good sleep last night because he's tired today.

Aww poor thing. A similar age too, thats interesting, i wonder if its an age thing. Luckily mine isnt thrashing to get out but shes certainly not as chuffed with it as she was before. Hope the sleeping bag works out for you, i might have to try if it gets worse
