Bumbo seat - with or without straps?

I'm looking to get a bumbo seat off eBay but would like advice on whether to get one with or without straps? If I get one with the straps, can they be removed? I am thinking the straps are just an added complication when trying to sit my DD in it, and have the potential of making the chair uncomfortable/too restrictive.

Honestly I wouldnt even bother getting one. Theres safety concerns surrounding them and they're useful for such a short period of time until they learn to sit on their own its not worth the cost imo

Neither, they’re crap and terrible for posture. If you must get one, look at the Mamas and Papas version, which at least has a flat seat which is better for hips. The Bumbo tips the hips backwards.

That's answered that one for me then, thank you - definitely glad I posted before wasting my money.

Agree with all of the above but we did love the fisher price sit me up seat.

My DS enjoyed being involved in what we were doing by being up close and it meant I could do things around the house with him nearby and as a good alternative to his bouncer
