I find alot of the stuff is crop top which my daughter doesn't like wearing. Also there are alot of dull colours ,or keep fit style clothes.I kno my daughter is growing up but I can't seem 2 find any in-between clothes, everything is either 2 young or in my opinion abit 2 old.Can anyone recommend anywhere to look? Thanks

I've ended up going for sizes 6 and 8 in adults. But it's been really tricky finding stuff that isnt too young adult - it ending up looking like a mini me!

Gap has been really good style wise, otherwise it's been a selective mix of Primark, H & M.

"or" ending up looking like a mini me!

I like Abercrombie Kids for my DD (11) - not too grown up but not too 'little girl'. It's not cheap though, but good quality and washes well.

My DD is similar and we shop a mixture of New Look (9-15 girls range), H & M, Primark and Zara is good for more dressy stuff, but you’ll need to size up. Occasionally she finds something in George at Asda and they go up to 13-14. Next older girls range have some nice stuff too.

Bennetton has a good range of clothes. Something a bit different from the crowd. Saw this but unfortunately no stock in the size you'd need.

The older kids/teen range at New Look is quite good, my 9yo has a few tops from there. I like that the sleeveless tops there are quite high in the chest so they’re comfortable and they’re not cropped. H&M is a favourite too. Matalan has some nice kids/teen stuff although it can be a mixed bag I’ve found.

My daughter lives in Scandi brands. Lovely, soft, comfy clothes that she can actually climb and play in. Look for brands like Maxomorra, Villervalla and Raspberry Republic. This doughnut t shirt is her current favourite top.

I had the same issue recently and I did what another poster mentioned - Went for small sizes from the adult section. Bought two lovely knitwears from primark in a size 6 and they fit my daughter. They look classy and decent unlike some of the tack in the kids section x

Peacocks was my go-to shop when my dc were at that age. It was a while ago though, I don't know what they are like now.
