15 month old not walking

Hi all. My 15 month old daughter is still not walking. She can walk, she can take steps and she can pull herself up on furniture. Last week she even stood up off the ground out of nowhere without using anything to pull herself up. However she just keeps crawling! She will take steps between myself and my husband and walks between furniture, but no more than 5 or 6 steps really. She seems quite wobbly and nervous.

Is there anything I can do to help her start properly walking? People keep saying 'don't worry, she'll get there' and while I rationally know that, I can't help but worrying. She is the only baby of her age that I know (friends with similar aged babies, NCT etc) that is not confidently walking everywhere. It would make trips to the park etc much more enjoyable as the wetter it gets outside the less I'm inclined to take her as she just crawls.

Thanks in advance Smile

You're all amazing. Thank you so much for the reassurance Grin

My DS2 did not walk until 20 months, he was lazy and awkward as he would get his older brother to get things for him by pointing to what he wanted (he was late with speech as well, why talk when you can use hand signals). He was an expert crawler though, was managing to go up the stairs on his hands and knees, when he wanted to come down he would just sit and howl till someone carried him down.
He is now father of five, his two youngest children were late walkers as well, 21 months and 22 months before they attempted it.
