3 year old won't listen

My 3 year old is driving me UP.THE.WALL.

She used to be absolutely brilliant at listening, but since starting half days at school she has been a total nightmare. I understand it is a big change for her, and obviously she is having a difficult time settling so not sure what action to take. She also has a 6 month old sister that she hasn't taken too well to.

She will do the exact opposite of what I ask her to do. She will try and argue with everything I say. We had an issue with her running off outdoors a few months back, but we solved this and she was brilliant again. All of a sudden, she is trying to let go of my hand and run off in shops, car parks etc. I will be getting the reigns out again until she will listen. In shops, she is swinging around my legs, sitting on the floor, knocking things off shelves (she has never done any of these things before). She is trashing the house, throwing water on the floor etc.

I know this probably sounds like standard toddler stuff, but she has been so good up until recently, and now it's like she spends the entire day thinking "how can I annoy Mum". I'm constantly saying no and trying my best not to shout, but she winds me up so so so much. I've had a full week of this and her whingeing and throwing tantrums on top of it, and I'm ready to jump out of a window.

She doesn't care if I put her on the naughty step. She thinks it's hilarious if I shout. Nothing seems to be getting through to her. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to parent please? 🙈
