Something for my sucky licky 3.5 month old?

DD is 16 weeks and likes to constantly have something in her mouth, or is constantly looking for something to suck/lick!

I give her a dummy more often than I am comfortable with (we are bfing), trying not to worry about it too much, but would like to keep it for sleep. In the meantime is there anything (toy etc.) you can recommend that I can give her to stop her chewing the car seat straps, her clothes and bibs, my shoulder, my fingers etc.! She is not quite 4 months so not very dexterous but can get things into her mouth. I'm just wondering if anyone knew of something that is easy to hold for a baby so young?

my 4 month old is exactly the same she likes chewing her hand and fingers but puts them so far in her mouth she makes herself sick! have you tried teething rings? i got one that has a ribbon which attaches to her clothes so she cant drop it and she loves it but she does seem to like sucking the ribbon more than the teether and it takes her a while to work out how to get it into her mouth and not her hand that is holding it

just been and invested in a taggie, which is great but she seems to need something more solid. i'll have to find a teething ring that is light enough for her to hold. thanks for the help!

My DS1 used to love those plastic teething beads (that you can get from Superdrug etc), he used to carry his everywhere with him for months and months. They are also very light for little hands.
