Sitting and standing in cot at night

So my little girl is 7 and a half months old and she has discovered that she can now sit up in her cot and pull herself up to standing using the bars! Ideal! She is waking 2 or 3 times through the night and sitting bolt upright and then pulling herself up on the bars...all in a sleep bag! 🙈 She is crying and screaming throughout this and nothing seems to soothe her apart from being breastfed. She is on 3 meals a day now so surely she shouldn’t be needing all these feeds through the night. How do I get her to stop sitting/standing in the cot?! Sorry for the long post! Thanks x

At that age it is less about getting 3 meals a day and more about the baby eating until they reach a certain weight. At that point they will naturally feed less during the night.

Until then I would feed her when she wakes up or she may get in to the habit of being awake during the night for longer than just a feed.
