Am I doing the right thing

ok, so dd2 who is 4 is about to start nursery tomorrow. She will be going 4 days a week from 9-12.

I am homeschooling my girls. I have found that dd1, who is 5 has a very good attention span. Whilst dd2 will only concentrate for about 10 mins before getting bored. She then ends up playing on her own. She is an extremely sociable and funny girl and I feel that she would benefit from the social interaction whilst I am busy with my other dd.

The problem that I have with it is this;
DD1 never went to nursery, she was always very shy and clingy, though thankfully she is much better now. She would have been one of those children who cry and cry when you leave them. And thast would have upset me too much.
I dont want dd2 to think that I am just trying to get her out of the way so I can have more time with dd1.
We have taken dd2 to look around the nursery and she really likes it and cant wait to go back. But i'm a bit worried that she might look on it that I favoured dd1 more. Which is completely not the case. The girls are just so different and I feel that warrents different treatment.

I'm rambling I know. I have flu and am not very articulate at the moment. But I hope you can see my concerns. Am I just being silly, dd2 isn't gonna resent me for this in the future is she.
Thanx

She may
She may not
Alternatively DD1 may resent you for preventing her from going.

You know dd1 did say today. Can I Go, and I had to say that she was too old, and anyway she does things that dd2 doesn't too as she is too young.

If your dd2 is enjoying going to nursery, why would she resent you for it? I can't see a problem with that. You are giving each child according to their needs.
Hope the flu is better soon
