Lost birth certificate

Help!

Feeling awful - we seem to have lost our sons birth certificate. He's 21 months old. I've ransacked then house and really can't find it - so annoyed as I usually file things away. The months when he was tiny are so hazy I don't know what I've done with it.

Does anyone know what happens now? Can I get a replacement or a copy? Does this have implications?

Haven't even got him a passport yet.

Go on the general register office website through the government website and order a new one. I lost my marriage certificate and had to do the same was about £16 I think

Just order another one - it’s easy to do!
