I have offered her a sticker, choc buttons (her fav) nothing.

What can I do?

Since you started her, how many 'hits' as she had (% wise) with wees and poos?

drosophila · 09/10/2007 20:31

Hmmmmm less than 50% but close to 50% I think.

I was just looking at those training pants on google. I think they may be better than disposable ones.

100% with poo.

i would put her back in nappies and leave it for a month and try again, sounds like she's not ready.

i totally sympathise with it, i have a 2.5 year old and am dreading the whole potty training thing having done it with dd.

otherwise, what about trying her straight on the toilet?, is it just the potty she's a bit upset to use?

notnowbernard · 09/10/2007 20:36

Personally, with the benefit of hindsight I would maybe leave it a month or so.

Great that she's 'got it' with poos, but a right hassle if she's going to wet half the time esp when out and about.

I can't find DS's old trainer seat so will buy new one. It is ever since she did the poo in the potty that she is acting strange about it.

I think I will see what tomorrow brings and then quit if same as today. Stupidly I felt pressured by nursery. 'Oh she is so ready' then you feel bad for not doing it
