Gift for new mum

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. My friend recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl Smile She previously, very sadly, had a miscarriage and when I had my DD she kindly gifted me some lovely clothes she had intended for her baby.

I have kept some of them as they were obviously bought with love and I wondered if it would be ok to gift them back? To me (I have also had a miscarriage) it is to say that I haven't forgotten about her loss and am celebrating her new baby too. However, I'm also aware that I might be off the mark.

I would just appreciate other's views on this. I want to make a positive and thoughtful gesture to my friend.

Thanks for reading.

If mention it to her rather than wrap up as a gift then you can keep it low key of needed
