Mummys with small age gaps - tell me it’s not that bad!

So just this morning got an unexpected BFP (taking pill, never missed one but not obsessive over taking it at exactly the right time every day).
I already have two children: DD is 2 years 8 months, DS is only 8 months old, and although baby number three was on the cards it wasn’t planned to be this soon.
So tell me, mummys with gaps 18 months or less, how hard is this really going to be? Because I am happy but also so scared!

Lots of people manage with a small age gap. Although I think it will be difficult, you seem happy about it so that’s half the battle. In the early days you will need some help. If you don’t have lots of family around you, I would look into a couple of days at a nursery or childminder for the older two to give you some breathing room. I can’t think of any further advice at the moment.
