Spots on toddlers leg not convinced but can’t think of anything else? He’s well in himself and spots don’t bother him.

It doesn’t look like chicken pox from that photo, more like the beginnings of scabies or impetigo but it’s hard to tell as it’s not a very clear pic?

My DD started with chicken pox over a week ago, they started with just 3 spots very similar looking then within 36 hours they turned into chickenpox! At that point she was very well too.

I'd stay home for today due to possible contagiousness and just see how/if they develop.

I agree that you have to just wait and see how they develop. It could be chicken pox, it could be bites or a heat rash. It's hard to tell.

Hard to tell, but if t is then it will become obvious within a few hours as the spots become fluid filled blisters.

I’d say if he’s not unwell it’s unlikely? Both of mine were quite poorly a few days before the spots came out x

Thanks all - spoke to dr and he doesn’t think it’s chicken pox just says sometimes kids get rashes and cal again if it gets worse or he becomes unwell. Nursery were also happy to take him.

Rash is still there tonight and I can’t quite put my finger on what I think it is - almost like baby nappy rash but goes down his legs as well.

Oh well, wait and see I guess!
