Congestion / stuffy nose

My son is 12 weeks. Since the day he was born he’s had mucous. In the beginning I was told it would clear but it hasn’t. My GP & HV have pretty much brushed it aside & said it’s nothing to worry about. How sounds terrible! I can hear him during the night. I’ve tried tipping the crib up, saline drops, baby olbas on a cloth at the end of his bed. I’ve used a snot sucker in the mornings.
Any other suggestions ? Much appreciate

My boy still had it til around 14 weeks but it does go eventually, it always sounds worse than it is because their tiny airways wheeze and whistle a lot more because of their size x

Hi. Without wanting to sound alarmist keep a close eye on his breathing if he develops a cough - I was told the same and my daughter actually had bronchiolitis and ended up in hospital x

My little boy was the same until around 6 months and still gets like it now sometimes at 8 months. I find a humidifier on at night really helps him

My son is almost 4 months old & was mucousy for what felt like a long while after birth. We started taking him in the shower or having him in the bathroom while we showered & that really helped to clear his airways.
