I'm a terrible mother!

DS 10 months fell off the bed while I had my back turned. I feel awful! He's absolutely fine, no marks or injuries. NHS24 have said just to keep an eye on him. He landed on his bottom so his nappy will have cushioned him.

My poor wee guy. Needless to say he won't be getting sat on the bed again.

You have passed parenting level 101! He'll be fine, you'll be fine, it's okay

You poor thing, you're not a terrible mother at all. We've all got stories like that! And we all learn from our mistakes. Don't give yourself a hard time

You feel a lot worse then he does.

He was really upset when he fell so I assumed he had hurt himself but I can't see any marks so I'm thinking he must have just got a fright

You did well getting to 10 months! Plenty of falls and tumbles ahead.

They're amazingly robust

Mine pitched off a bed at about that age, landed on his nose and scraped it. I felt awful. He survived to tell the tale.
