That doesn't sound nice. Is someone with you?

I feel a bit like this when I'm really tired. Could you have a big glass of water (in case you're dehydrated, especially if you're BF) and a really early night?

@PaulinePetrovaPosey yeah I have my mum and husband with me have tried having water going to call the gp on Monday but I have anxiety so maybe I am over thinking it

You need to call 111 or your health visitor or midwife if you have an out of hours number. If not, call the department or hospital you gave birth in and ask to speak to a midwife.

If you have a BP monitor at home, take your BP.

Could your iron levels be low? I feel like that if mine are. I would tell the doctor how you are feeling and they will probably give you some blood tests. Please try not to panic. It is almost certainly something that can be treated easily but it is always best to check with a doctor.

I don’t think you should leave it til monday

Peachypips78 · 19/09/2020 19:01

I was thinking low iron too.

OP I remember that I was sweating buckets at night in the first weeks postpartum. I think there's an explanation, something about the body getting rid of fluids or something, plus the hormone thing, especially if you had a drip due to epidural. Lightheadedness could be caused from exhaustion, have you been getting enough sleep? It's not uncommon to feel v v tired if baby doesn't sleep well (which is also v normal!)
All that said, I am not a medical professional and also I believe it's important to please trust your instinct. Give 111 call, even if just for reassurance if need be. It's always best to play it safe! It's important to rule out things. I hope you feel better v soon

It sounds like low iron levels to me, get a supplement and eat more dark chocolate! I had this after my second pregnancy, still a bit low but ok now..
