Squawking baby

Hi, my baby is nearly four months old and for the past 3weeks has been squawking. It's not really a happy sound, it's very loud but it's not crying either. It's worse when she is tired but can do it anytime too. My first baby never did this. Just wondering if anyone else's baby was a squawker and when did they grow out of it?

Meant to also say apart from these noises is a normal baby.

My 8 month makes lots of chirping, squealing sounds too...it's his form of communication, I think it's just how babies first start to communicate?

Mine often sounds like an angry guinea pig 🤷‍♀️

Don't worry - mine is 7 and we still call her the squawker - they're just finding their voice

I too have a squawking chicken baby. She's nearly 5 months, and my god is she loud. I've just resigned myself to a life with a chatty Cathy Grin
