Am I Just A Mum?

So the time has come where my life's dedication from being 15yr old having my son leading on to my two daughters aged 13 and 5 all now at school I am left wondering what to do now am I mad not enjoying the space or is anybody else same boat n thinking am I just a mum or can I be something that matters lol help x

Not in the same position, but no of course you are more than a mum! What would you like to do now? Study, work, volunteer, hobby, the world is your oyster!

Over the years I've tried my hand at a good few things well everything to pass time people are always saying ur crazy what u like tends to knock my confidence even though when I do commit I go all the way usually lol I am at a total blank space as I actually don't even know myself or what I like as iv put all my self into my kids an man now I am left toddling about myself thinking I do t even know myself I'm crap at expressing what I mean so sorry if this is all confusing but again I am ever so grateful. For the positive reply thank you Smile

Standard GCSE after I had my first kid which was really young I was took on a course in London for magnet kitchens was the youngest designer who worked for Homebase but baby brain an age and 20 years stress has got me lol x

I have even started to look into hypnotherapy to try n guide me I am definitely the one who gave up all for my kids an man lol u know since before I had my boy 18 yr ago I have never even had a single nite out with friends as I was set in my ways they didn't understand back then x

Sounds like you feel like you haven't lived YOUR life yet, just been a support for men or children for a long time. And they are very good at taking, but don't know much about giving back to you.
A mother can easily become part of the furniture. You have to put your foot down, but also work on making a plan for yourself, no matter how small, to start.
Maybe a course on something you are interested in.
Good luck OP. It's hard, I've lost myself too in motherhood.
