11 month old sobbing in her sleep

Hi, my 11 month old DD for the past week or so has started crying hysterically randomly through the night but isn't actually waking up. Almost as if she's having nightmares. I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences and knew what the cause was and how to solve it?

For background she was in A&E a few weeks ago with a UTI and fever so I was worried this was coming back, although she has been put on long term antibiotics for this so I'd have hoped it was clear. She also doesn't cry like this through the day. In fact she's not really a crier at all.

I'm also 27 weeks pregnant and she hasn't wanted to settle on me to get to sleep for about the same time, however I just assumed that was because she could feel the baby move.

Could it just be nightmares? I've heard of night terrors before but I always thought that was older children affected?

My 14 month old does this. She has phases where she really sobs in her sleep for a few days. When I first heard it I went and rubbed her back but it it was obvious she was fast asleep and it made no difference. I leave her to it now.

I've always assumed it's just normal dream stuff and haven't overly worried about it. She seems happy enough when she wakes in the morning. Heart breaking to listen to though!
