Can a 1 year old sleep with a pillow in their cot?

My 14 month old co-sleeps and always makes his way onto my pillow. I'm about to try and get him sleeping in his cot. Is it safe to put a pillow in with him?

Yes. They are OK from 1 year. I'd choose a fairly flat one

Get a cot pillow, at 12 months babies can turn over, you no longer need to ensure they sleep on their back.

They can but its more recommended to wait til 18m, and you need a flat one
