Whats happened to my easy, happy baby?? So hes a big baby and always struggled with constipation which didn't ease up with ready made or cooled boiled water. After a chat with HV we decided to try comfort milk, im on HIPP comfort as he had HIPP normal milk before which he was happy on aside the hard to pass stool. It pretty much sorted out his constipation straight away, now we have daily green wet explosions! Over the course of a couple of weeks hes started to go off his milk, going from gulping it down to screaming and throwing himself back and immediately wanting his dummy. Its now got to a point he screams for it and then screams after taking a few ounces and his sleep has gone from 6 hour stretches to 3 at the most. My question is really, is this a sign that the milk doesn't sit right with him or is it more 4 month regression/ teething (he is always chewing on something)
I'm reluctant to change his milk again if it will block him up and cause hard to pass stools again.he was on aptimal at birth but we changed it as he was really gassy and not comfortable after his feeds.
He is in the 75th percentile and has gone from draining 6oz to anywhere between 1-4oz.he is otherwise really happy and content, full of wet nappies and giggles.
Please send help, this mumma got used to her sleep!!
