Motherease wrap over disposable nappies?

Has anyone tried the motherease wraps over disposable nappies? I'm getting a bit fed up of poo explosions! I've tried all different brands of nappies.
Or if you've got any tips to prevent this I'd be happy to hear them!

Worked well for overnight - stopped the heavy wet gusset falling down.
Though IME motherease nappies in wraps - a bargain second-hand are the best ever at containing poosplosions. I swear I did less laundry in ds's first few months using washable nappies than other parents using disposables!
