Hello - We live in scotland my child goes to what is classed as a good school. Unfortunately for the past few years there have been a number of children in the class that have caused significant disruption. Shouting, swearing consistent talking over the teacher all day long not to mention the occasions when there has been spitting chair throwing you name it. There has been some support provided over the years for these children but nothing concrete and persistent and I'm now at a stage where I just dont feel my child really is getting a very good level of education. The children in the class are 7/8 years old and at an important stage of their learning and I just dont know what to do.
I have brought it up a few time to the head as have a number of other parents and am advised additional support is being placed in the class room etc etc but it's not enough it feels to little to late.
The teachers and students shouldnt have to experience this level of disruption and verbal abuse every single day and the children doing it really should be getting better support.
What would you do - move your child to a different school where they may not know anyone and may meet other issues/complications along the way or stick it out and have faith the teachers know what they are doing in these tricky situations.
Thanks
