Starting preschool

Hi, how is everyone?

My son started preschool this week and on his first day the teachers first words to me were 'he's a bit of a character isn't he?' (This is how when I worked in childcare, I would describe the more challenging, full on, cheeky, little ones!) maybe I'm taking this the wrong way? Haha he's genuinely pretty well behaved most of the time, just knows his mind as most 2 year olds do!

How have your little ones got on starting preschool? Not too many tears I hope!

And have any 'characters' gone on to be a positive thing lol

I think of a character in a very young child as a happy outgoing bubbly child, normally from a loving playful home.

I always had a soft spot for the ones I'd describe as "a character". (Worked with a bit older than preschool) "Characters" were the ones who made me laugh because they had a great sense of humour themselves or they'd do something unexpected and creative.
