it's been five years since i've used real nappies. and now it all seems like greek or latin again.
i need to buy some for dsis who isnt entriley converted to the idea, but needs to save some money, so wantst o use them at home. what can i buy for her as a present? she wont need two dozen, as she will be using disposables as well. i am happy to spend 30 to 50 pounds. but it's jusst sooo confusing.
twinkle on the web was very helpful half a decade ago, but now the website seems impossible to read, with no picutres and written in latin.
any help much appreciated

Hello

There are a few of us on here with websites in the small business ads

If you want to email bumfluffnappies at gmail dot com I can talk you through the various options and help you work out a few to put in a kit for her.

Mustrunmore was dubious to begin with but she seems a happy convert now

lispy · 07/10/2007 12:40

Check out the other thread, i'd reccomend www.eenee.com (no i don't work for them!)

wildpatch · 07/10/2007 14:05

thanks flame, have emailed you.
i've had a look at the website lispy, but it seems they're based in australia. i prefer tostay local if possible. thanks for that though

hiya if flame doesnt get you sorted which is higly unlikely as she is as helpful as i am lol! then also feel free to e mail me via the small ads. Have fun . I may have something different so worth a browse if anything - or google nappyzone

moondog · 07/10/2007 14:39

I could sell ya an entire boxful (Bambino Mio) used but in great condition.
£100 and will do yuo from maybe 3 mths-3 years.

wildpatch · 07/10/2007 16:29

thanks moony, but i think i need to buy brand spanking new, with the packaging. she isnt a convert. and used nappies WILL bring out the snob in her.
ask me again in a few months time, or second baby round. she'll probably jump at the bargain then!

nappyzone, her baby is tiny, five and a half pounds. the problem is that i need them before 11 am thursday, as am flying out then. postal strike complicates everything even more.
i live in surrey. can you help me?

OP posts:
nappyzone · 07/10/2007 17:26

oh balls i live in stockton on tees - if the strike lifts come back to me again and i can always send out next day delivery. Saying that not sure i have anything to suit a teeny tiny one in stock. Flame is down that neck of the country and might be able to courier something if local but i have no idea .... Were r u flying to? if uerope postal rates are generally the same but that wont really get anything to you in time - i hate postal strikes

Flamesparrow · 07/10/2007 18:46

Right, I've sent a bit of a rambly email, I have gone all flustered about the time and not very coherent

We'll get ya sorted one way or the other!

wildpatch · 07/10/2007 22:39

When we were using them I LOVED totsbots (with motherease wraps) and favourite site was kittykins.co.uk

lispy · 08/10/2007 05:15

Moondog, tell me about the bambino mios, my friend wants to get them (in Australia though) and we haven't met anyone who uses them. She just thinks they're pretty! You're selling them for a bargain! which inserts did you use?

laura032004 · 08/10/2007 18:56

Wildpatch - I have 5 TotsBots for sale. I've just put them onto Ebay - see here. If you're interested & can pay by Paypal, I could cancel the auction, and courier them to you. They'd get to you on Wednesday.
