How many outfits does your baby have?!

I often think I buy my 1 year old too many clothes and he has a bigger wardrobe than me! So I was just wondering how many outfits does your baby have and does anyone think they buy too many like me? Wink

At any age from 9 months I try to have 6 leggings and 6 tops in rotation for nursery and everyday wear. Maybe a couple of nicer outfits and a dress or two. Then nightwear etc. That's always been enough for me if I was every other day.

DS is 17 months and he basically lives in joggers - has about 10 pairs - and long sleeve tops - has loads - at the moment. He has a batch of tshirts, a couple of hoodies, half dozen pairs of pjs. I’ll buy him some vests for winter probably.
I find things like jeans and shirts etc just uncomfortable for babies and a pain to change.

Like PP 6–7 sets of trousers and tops, 2 outfits in the changing bag, 3 jumpers, one nice outfit. Any more and it makes me sad when they grow out of them with barely any wear, and it also gives them more space to play because everything fits in a few small drawers.

The minimum necessary. Overbought in the first year and got sick of clothes hardly getting worn.

He’s got a large but very cheap wardrobe for nursery as he can get through a few outfits a day there between water play, mud, food etc.

Therefore I limit his nicer clothes for home. He’s got about 4-6 pairs of trousers/shorts, about 3 decent jumpers and maybe 10 tops/t shirts per season and that’s it. No more than 2, max 3, pairs of shoes in any one size.

He does have about 8 or more pairs of PJs though as he gets through those pretty much daily.

Way more than me and he's 4 months old 😳😳

I definitely buy too much looking at all your replies! I think I've transferred my love of clothes onto my little one Blush

Far too many. We've saved a lot of DS's clothes, brought DD a few dresses/pretty things when we knew she was a girl, lots gifted, a few hand me downs from my sister for DD and I've brought a few bits from one of my favourite kids brands because they're such cheerful clothes.
