Bottle feeding!

Just looking for some advice my baby is two weeks old and fomula fed. She drinks anything between 2 & 4 oz every 3 hours, but during feeds (not every feed) she projectile vomits half way through it. We are winding her frequently as she seems to guzzle and drink it quickly. Once she has being sick she always wants to continue drinking and can sometimes want extra once the bottle has finished. She is back to her birth weight and produces plenty of wet/dirty nappies. Just looking for advice or options of things to try? Thank you!

It could be a bit of reflux so make sure you're keeping her upright to feed and it also sounds like she could be taking too much too fast so going down a teat size might help.

We did think reflux but she doesn't seem to be in any pain? She can be a bit restless during burps but can manage to get them up. She is using Tommee Tippee bottles and just the newborn size 1 teat.

Sorry i haven't heard it called that, yes we are doing that - we know the signs she is hungry now and never force a feed. We stop her throughout to give her a break and always have eye contact ect.

Try a different bottle, mam or NUK

I was thinking about trying a different brand but wasn't sure if it would help? Thanks for your advice 😀

Don't want to freak you out but look up pyloric stenosis. My DS had this and it started around 2 weeks old, it carried on for 3 more weeks getting worse until he was unable to keep anything down. We just kept getting told reflux and I tried every bottle under the sun but nothing helped. It's probably NOT that but just wanted to make you aware, I wish I'd have known earlier.
