How long to master crawling??

Hi. My little boy has recently mastered sitting up and has now moved on to crawling... All he wants to do it be on his belly shouting with frustration as he wiggles around! I remember he did this for rolling over too. My question is, any ideas on how long it’ll take him now he’s set his mind to it?? Am I in for weeks of this shouting?! He seems to know what to do with his arms and legs but can’t lift his belly.

Took a couple of weeks for my DD. There was a lot of planking, some commando crawling and most annoying a lot of nighttime practice in her cot.

How old is he? my DD just did it.but she was nearly a year old so quite "late"

Ds went from going nowhere and front swimming, to heaving himself along on his belly in a weird worm motion, to getting up and crawling like a pro within a fortnight! He was a little late, mastered hands and knees crawling the day after he turned 10 months so obviously had a lot of strength already, just hadn't worked out that his arms could be used to support him! 😂. He's 10.5 months now and I can't stop him from pulling up and cruising like a speed demon around the furniture...

My little boy didn't start crawling properly until after he walked lol could sit properly by himself at 5.5 months. Around 6. 5 months started army crawling. At 7 months could stand unaided. Walked at 8 months and 7 days and didn't crawl 'properly' until around 9 months x

A couple of weeks to become scarily fast- at 7.5 months old.

Following as we have an 8 month old who has been doing the worm and getting very frustrated at not being able to crawl 😬

My dd is still at this stage a couple of months later. But she has mastered a bum shuffle in the meantime

DS never crawled properly. He was doing the strangest commando crawl (much more difficult than normal crawling) from about 9 months. He didn't walk until 18 months and only then figured out proper crawling.
He's was late with all the physical stuff but now he runs everywhere.
He'll get there in his own sweet time.
