Is my baby a normal size?

With Corona going on, my 10 week old DD hasn't been seen by a profressional since the day she was born. She had her jabs last week but the nurse purely did the jabs, there wasn't much else to the appointment.

I'm only asking this question because she seems to be very long (not really fat but she is putting on weight and does have the start of what looks like rolls) and despite being 10 weeks old she is in 6-9 months clothing. I thought maybe it was the particular store I brought clothes from but it is the same across all brands. I'm worried bottoms are too tight around her waist in 6-9 as well.

She was born a normal weight of 7lb 9oz and she fitted in newborn clothes just fine. Its really been the last 3 weeks that she suddenly just grown and gone all long and lanky. Her dad is 6ft 1 and I'm 5ft 7 so maybe she's going to be tall too? Or should I be concerned and go and visit a GP about her size ?

She's FF (unable to BF) and a very eat on demand baby but takes the usual 16-32oz per day, rarely goes over 25 tbh so I don't think I'm over feeding her?

My baby was born at 7lb1 on 25th percent tile and at 13 weeks is still on the same percentile but wearing 6-9 month clothing in next clothing (only have next so unsure of other brands) I cant get my head around this really and wonder what size bigger babies would be wearing!!

Phone your HV they are still doing visits and weighing babies.

My youngest DS is 7 weeks. He was last weighed 2 weeks ago and was 11lb 11oz. He takes 6oz every feed and is in 0-3 comfy.

Don’t doubt yourself, if your baby is fed, happy and healthy then the labels on the clothes don’t matter. Dress her in what fits 😀

The most important things are nappy output (is she having enough wet and dirty nappies) and is she growing fairly consistently? Suddenly dropping down or jumping up the charts is what the health visitors usually look out for. I know you say your baby hasn't been weighed but it sounds like she's been going steadily up in clothing sizes which is a good sign.

Ask your DH if he was a long baby or ask your MIL. What about you, did you outgrow your clothes quickly as a baby - check with your mum.
If she's following a pattern - sitting on the placentile then that's fine. If she's jumping all over the place it needs to be reviewed.

I'd go by weight rather than size as you are both tall it is normal that she will have tall genes.

She's probably had a growth spurt and it will calm down again now for a while

But check weight and if still concerned phone the health visitor.

Don't worry. My 12 week old is in 6-9 month old clothes. My first baby was the same and he's quite tall now. Maybe she will be quite tall too.
