Entertaining nearly 3 year old twins!

I’m a sahm, have been since the twins were born. My eldest is 4 and starting reception next week so will be just me and the twins around. DH has always worked shifts but is now moving to a Mon-Fri job for the first time since we have been together. One of the twins has Down Syndrome and before covid life was busy with her therapies and hospital appointments which her twin would tag along to but these have eased off since lockdown as have the playgroups we used to go to. Any ideas to occupy almost 3 year old twins on my own both indoors and outdoors? Feel we have exhausted everything over lockdown! Must be cheap, buggy friendly (DD with Down Syndrome doesn’t yet walk) and covid safe e.g no soft play. We had to shield for DD and whilst we are getting out and about where we can I don’t want to go looking for bugs!

Things my twin nieces enjoy is going on walks they even enjoy going to to look for ducks to feed them. They also love a picnic and when the weather has been shoddy they’ve still had the picnic including the basket etc. but had it indoors with their teddy’s.

They both adore their aqua doodle mats, and so handy when you want them to be creative but you don’t want to do the big tidy up afterwards.

Abit of screen time won’t hurt them! One of the girls has learnt so much from some of the shows that they watch.

As it will be coming up to seasonal events could try some crafts and some baking with them too.
