My 4 month old boy has three naps a day and sleeps from 7-7 approx, waking once at around 1am.
I’m struggling to fit in more than 4 feeds a day on this routine, because there just aren’t enough hours in the day! He’s getting around 800-850ml of formula milk per day.
I’m concerned because the formula box says 5-8 feeds a day is ideal for his age, and 180ml max per feed. But he’s getting four feeds and up to 210ml per feed (sometimes a bit more).
Is he being fed frequently enough and am I overstretching his little stomach with the big feeds?
He seems very happy on this routine but just wanted to check it’s okay...! I can’t really see how I’d fit in another feed, other than waking him in the night?
