When to clean baby's teeth

DD is 10mo and finally has a tooth! We've introduced a toothbrush at bath time and she's loving it, thankfully.

The NHS website says: Gradually start brushing your child's teeth more thoroughly, covering all the surfaces of the teeth. Do it at least twice a day: just before bed and at another time that fits in with your routine.

Just before bed is fine but when is best to brush them the second time? First thing as soon as she wakes or after breakfast?

We do DS before his nap, he's almost 2 and has a nap around 11.30am so that works well for us. He has his first teeth

It's up to you.

I tend to do it first thing as it's easier for me.

Oops, our DS had his first teeth at 4 months so we've had a lot of practice!

After breakfast - that's when I do mine! We have breakfast in PJs and then upstairs for wash, teeth & clothes.

We brush before bed and after breakfast.

We came downstairs in pjs this morning, had our breakfast and then got ready which included cleaning our teeth. She wasn't as keen as she is during bath time but it worked out well. Thank you for your help!
