Hi there fran - welcome to MN. Join in and say what you think. Do ask anything too. No one will look down on you because of your age just if you say something they don't agree with!!!
Enjoy

Hi there, welcome to MN.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Hi there! I was only 24 when I had my dd 7 years ago and I felt quite young compared to the other mums too! Especially when she started school... Don't let it bother you though, your dc loves you!

Hello.

Hi fran

I had DS1 when I was 20. 10years on and I felt positively youthful when I went to the open evening at a potential secondary school today so there are benefits to being a young mum

gonna sound really stupid now but what does dc and dd stand for?

DC refers to children, ds is son

Look at the acronym list atthe top of the page

Don't worry you'll soon have to stop yourself refering to your chld as dd/ds

How old is your lo?
