I used to give my baby cream cheese sandwiches cut into fingers and she loved them

Yes, sandwiches are perfect finger food for that age

Yep, our DS loved sandwiches at that age!

My boy had a cream cheese sandwich today he's just coming up to 7 months, I cut the crust off and cut them into fingers and he loved them :) xx

We did sandwiches from about that age, generally with quite a damp filling and then I mushed it together. It mainly got sucked for the first few months but very popular now.

I used to do mashed avocado and cream cheese sandwiches for mine - bit older though maybe at 12 months.

Make sure the bread isn’t too soft ime. Both of mine struggled with very fresh bread as it got stuck in the roof of their mouth. Never enough to worry me and they figured it out which I guess is the point but didn’t look very comfortable!!

I loved when DS could eat sandwiches, it have us so much more freedom when we were out for the day and were caught short for food, most tuna or egg sandwiches are low enough in salt these days, but just check the labels!
