What advice or fact would you give yourself through pregnancy/childbirth and parenting??

Mine is pregnancy insomnia doesn't get you ready for the newborn sleepless nights!

Don't have 2 babies with a 1 year age gap!

You can't sleep when the baby sleeps. To much to do!

Tomorrow is a new day. Relax

Always pack your bag with certain essentials when going out - snacks, water, sun cream/hat in summer, nappies, spare clothes, toys.

Grab any opportunity you can to have a cup of tea and a sit down.

Make the most of visitors - let them make their own tea, or pass the baby over to snooze as often as you are comfortable. Having your hands free is wonderful!

Try to catch a short nap whenever possible. Sod the housework. It will still be waiting for you!

Babies Don’t hold grudges. If you make a mistake, it’s not the end of the world and they will be fine. Sitting in a dirty nappy for a while because you were too sleep deprived to noticed is not the end of the world now and then.

Always pack a good bag of spares and wipes ect..

Children do actually listen to everything so be very mindful of what you say to them/around them
