Red sore neck

LO has a red sore line across her neck. And she has pale patch around the line? I have used coconut oil, vaseline and sudocream. Nothing has worked. Also a nappy cream and that hasn't worked either. Trying my best to keep it dry.

Anyone else have this problem? What can I use?

Is it in the fold of the neck? My ds had this until he started holding his head up properly and even now I have to watch out and make sure it is clean and dry after he has eaten or when he's been drooling loads. The only thing we found that worked was child's farm nappy cream and also trying to get some air to it.

@Fivebyfive2 yes neck fold. She is now 10 months and I thought it would get better but it's the same. Thank yoy for that. Will get some tomorrow!
