Safety device for children

Hi, my child will go to the local primary school (nursery) in the fall and I'm little paranoid about his safety. I was wondering if anyone else had ever considered or bought a gps style tracker for their child that tracks their location? I haven't found any good options online and i'm just wondering if I'm unusual in being worried or if others have felt this way too? Thanks!

It seems a bit over the top, I've never heard of any other parents using trackers on their children. In my experience, British primary schools are very secure, with all gates locked during the school day and very limited entry/exit points.

How many nursery school children get lost each year? The number must be minutely tiny. I'd save your energy for something else.

I think that is slightly ott. Im sure he will be safe at nursery.
