Uppababy vista piggyback/buggy board

I have 2 year old with baby due next month. Have the uppababy vista, which I don't want/really need (hopefully) to make into a double.

I am planning to make a lot of use of the sling with the baby but for times that won't work I am hoping a buggy board will work, my toddler is pretty adventurous so fingers crossed he will take to it, but know there are no guarantees...

Has anyone used the vista piggyback board or an alternative buggy board with the vista? Are you able to use it with the carrycot? I am getting conflicting info depending on where I look.

Also is the vista own buggy board worth it? Or are the alternatives like lascal just as good?

Thank you!!

How about a toddler sized sling for your 2 year old for when they don't want to walk (or you need to get somewhere quicker than they'll walk)? I found it much easier to back carry toddler whilst pushing buggy.

I got an uppa baby vista when I had my second. My son was 2. He could t use the buggy board at that age. He just couldn't figure out how to fit on it.

The double configuration was amazing and worked until 6 months when she grew out of the carry cot and he learnt to use the buggy board. We have a lascal board.

My friend tried the whole newborn sling, toddler in buggy thing. Same age gap. It started well until one time when out the toddler had a melt down and she couldn't handle him into the buggy with th baby strapped to her. She got a vista double after that

I had the Uppababy piggyback board for my Vista and it was a roaring success 🙂

My kids are 5 and 6 now, so it was the older model which just clipped on. I know the newer one is different. Yes, I used it with the bassinet and seat, although it's easier with the seat parent facing.

I passed a Lascal buggy board (that I used with my GLuxe stroller) onto a friend with a newer model Vista - she said it was great too.

My eldest rather like sitting in the basket too!
