3 year old suddenly wetting himself?

Anyone have any ideas why?
My
3 year old is suddenly needing to wee.... all the time! Yesterday he had 2 accidents in the morning and then used the potty 4 times! During the night he wet the bed!
This is not his normal wee frequency and I'm really concerned!
We did have issued the other week as he hates washing his hands so he started to hold his wee but that's passed now and it's more how often he's going as it's completely out of his character to wee so much!
The doctors have sent a sample off but I just feel it's going to come back clear! He's drinking and eating the same. He has said it's a little soar down there from time to time but isn't that upset about it....
I'm so worried :(

It can be a sign of constipation.

UTI?

Well I've sent a sample off but the urine was completely clear so I don't think it's that... he's also fairly regular with his poos so I don't think it's that either 😩
