10 year old shower in morning or evening?

Currently 10yo DS showers in evenings before bedtime. He has been saying he wants to shower in mornings instead and wonder if this is better hygiene wise as he grows older with body odour etc?

After always having bedtime routine of baths/showers in evenings, and slight fear of crazy morning rush when back at school... I tend to think evenings are better for showers but wonder if it changes as they get older? Also have DS 8 who probably will want to copy too! Then that’s everyone having showers in morning! 😵

Ds sometimes showers in the morning. Dd wouldn't have time

Why can’t you just let him choose?

My 7 year old has a shower every morning but he gets up at 7 and his school is 10 minutes walk away so plenty of time. His younger brother has evening showers a couple of times a week when I force him!

Shower in the morning gives DS better hair, which matters to him.

Whichever is easier.

Thinking about it, tomorrow all 4 of us will shower in the morning (to give DD's hair a chance to dry properly). It's OK if everyone gets a wriggle on.

It doesn’t matter either way. We all shower in evening here, adults and children, and it is ok.
