Medical negligence compensation

No hate, please only comment of yourself or someone you personally know had a successful case win in respective of medical negligence and what was the outcome?

A friend of mine wasn't given a profalactic anti coagulant (protocol said she should) she has a catastrophic stroke, she received a large sum as compensation (she now needs 24hr care and is wheelchair bound) but it was years later.

Ahh no what a shame. Ive just found out my medical documents and specialist reports are all very favourable so a letter has been sent the the relevant department
